Add a color background

Goal

Apply a clean solid-color background that improves screenshot contrast.

Prerequisites

• A source screenshot is already imported.
• You are in the editor with access to background controls.

Steps

1. Open background controls and choose color mode.
2. Pick a color from the color gallery stack.
3. If you need a custom brand color, open HEX input and enter a valid value.
4. Confirm background is enabled and return to editor.

Verify Result

• Background mode is color.
• Screenshot text/UI remains readable.
• The selected color appears consistently in preview.

Quick Rollback / Undo Path

• Use undo once to revert the last color selection.
• Switch background mode to gradient or image if solid color is not suitable.
• Disable background entirely if needed.

If colors look too harsh

• Choose a lower-contrast neutral from the palette.
• Recheck shadow/stroke strength after changing background.
