License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Shotwell for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

Subscriptions and Billing

Shotwell offers a free tier and a paid subscription ("Shotwell Pro"). Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store on an annual or monthly basis. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for Shotwell Pro. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged at the standard rate for your selected plan.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the photos and images you edit with Shotwell. All image processing happens on your device — we never access, collect, or store your images.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Shotwell; use the app for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to circumvent subscription or licensing restrictions.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Shotwell is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shotwell and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Shotwell after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
